Rebuilding AFM
I was working on emptying out the engine bay before I pull the engine for a rebuild and the when trying to unplug the AFM the plug side that is supposed to stay in the sensor pulled out and the wires came apart, has anyone rebuilt one of the stock N326 13 210 AFMs?

You can cut through the silicone on the black cap on top of the MAF and remove it to look inside. There are several pins on that connector that should be soldered to the board, so if the board is undamaged you can resolder them. It's likely to have ripped the pads, so you may need to use jumper wires. Be careful if you do, because the big gear wheel thing needs to turn freely throughout the whole range. You don't want it to get stuck on a loose wire and hang in one position.
Also (IIRC) the wheel needs to be held open when you reinsert the connector. Otherwise the spring-loaded arm for the fuel cut-off will interfere.
Lastly, there should have been two screws holding the connector to the body of the MAF. I assume you're missing these screws and that's why the connector ripped out. You'll need to replace them or this will happen again next time you unplug it.
