well it took awhile but today it fired up. i messed up the water pump gasket and found that out when the temp went up. but all is well now. i hope...........
i should get it going tommorrow.
i had to push it to start it, smoked for a bit then i just let it idle for a bit until i saw the leak by the water pump. i'm really glad it runs as i was worried since this was my first time rebuilding. nothing to it really the hardest part is all the cleaning.
also nothing like getting it back in the car 3 days before the first race of the season. i'm doing a track day on friday so i hope to have as much time on the engine as possible. i should have 8 hours of available time plus whatever i can do around the house on thursday.
