Rebuild question for people who are DIY'ers

For any of you peeps that have rebuild your own engines, what parts did you re-use if any?

I just tore down my s4 6port and lots of parts that i thought were gona be all worn look great. All the rotor oil seals and springs look great, and all my sideseals look good too. Im going to measure to make sure but hey, if i dont have to buy em great.

Hey man, good to hear a DIYer is alive and kickin now days. All of your side seals should be good, same with the metal oil rings (replace the rubber for sure). Corner seals should be fine, replace the rubbers. Replace apex seals of course, and maybe the springs, even though the springs should be fine. Good luck, spec everything though, you shouldnt have to replace much.

I am rebuilding my NA engine and will be reusing one rotor, eshaft, irons, front cover, oil pump, side seals. Everything else is going to get changed, and the irons will have a date with my die grinder

Be sure and measure the sealing lip of the oil seals. It must be within spec. Also look for wear spots on the edge. If you have more than 5 or 6, you shouldn't reuse that oil seal.
