rebuild question

I have an 88 se with bad water jacket seals. Is it possible to R&R the seals without replacing other miscellaneous gaskets and such.

What gaskets and why would you want to? If you don't have the cash to fix it properly then you don't have the cash to fix it.

If your coolant seals have failed it's likely you have broken coolant seal lands in the irons or warped housings.

i use the little slide window to change the coolant and apex seals without taking the motor apart.

it was a mazda special tool, i had to pay $1,000,003 for it.
