doing my first rebuild and i was wondering if the side housing can be machined where the rotor spins at and the service manual doesnt really say, and is there anything to the rotor housings and side housing that have to be prepared i.e cylinder honing for a piston engine.

the side housings can be lapped down by several vendors I know of...the rotor housings, on the other hand, are dead when they get worn to limits
