Rebuild prehaps?

When I start it it smokes, when I let it sit it still smokes, and if I rev the engine after its warm then it smokes more. The engine has 200k+ on it and it was sitting for about 3 years before I bought it. I have driven it a few times and it seems to run fine and it actually stops smoking after a while of driving. I really don't know what everyone means by "sweet-smelling" so I can't check to see what it smells like but it does smell... bad.

Smokin...

Thats how it smokes after it is warm and when it starts. Think this means the seals are gone? Which would mean a rebuild. Could it be something minor (hopefully)?

Wow, 200K+ on the engine... In any case that smoke looks indicative of something wrong. By sweet smelling does the smoke smell almost like candy or does it lean more towards the lawn mower smell. Sweet smelling is probably a leaking coolant seal, however I think that smoke is more bluish colored than white. In that case it would be that you are combusting a lot of oil along with gasoline and air.

At 200,000 miles, your car is finally giving up the ghost.

Noooooo... I don't have 1k to shell out for a rebuild. The smoke doesn't really have a blueish tint to it but i touched up the pic in PS so you could see it better. As for the smell... I'd say it smells more like a lawn mower rather than candy.

Why do that? And risk the possibility of warping the Plates/Housings?

I say you remove and rebuild It now...It's on It's way out anyway. Doing It now will prevent you from going from bad to worse.

Its the oil seals that are going, sooner or later the smoke will just get too bad. I hardly think the plates/housings are in any immediate danger.

True. But I'm thinking If the Water Seals are toast than LeakyRedRX7's Engine could make a turn for the worst. Rebuilding It now would be a piece of mind, rather than milking an excess of a few hundred kilometeres before It finally goes. Hmm, his username kinda suits his situation unfortunately.

Send the city a bill for killing all the mosquitos.... What a great way to put money away for a rebuild .
