Rebuild kits.

anyone here have any experience with the atkins "master" rebuild kit for a TII?
I was wondering if this is a pretty good deal as its cheaper than others.
or if there might be another kit I should get instead.

thanks in advance

i dont know but a GASKEt is a gasket.

what i notice people do on here is that they subsitute **** like the the water seals oil seal and so on and so fourth and the apex seals.
with that said there is a atkins sells there gasket kit on ebay for like 330.
then you can get your apex seals from some one you trust ie pineapple rotary aviation and who ever else makes them

Id keep searching, unless your truely **** and lOOOOoooooooooooooooooooove your engine I would seriously think about finding and buying a low milage rebuilt, its like the same ******* price bare block as sad as that is. One of the reasons its so popular to just drop an LT / LS motor in them. More up from but less in the long run when you take bolt ons and rebuilds into consideration.

I had this lengthy conversation with my wife and one of my friends about how I think so much **** for the RX7 is just over priced because its like a running trend, someone makes a cold air kit for a Civic and it sells for $25 on ebay, same thing for an RX7 and its $125. I seen some aftermarket clear tail lights and they were nearly $500. What a ****** joke.

I rebuilt my entire upper half of my Sebring 2.5 mitsu motor with a $50 kit. It came with everything except lower end bearings ($50 on ebay new) and piston rings ($100 on ebay new). When i say everything I mean it, even the little o-rings for the water pump crossover tube and the heater core connecting tubes just as an example how complete this kit was.

Makes me sick, Im gonna go throw up because I just remembered I decided to turbo my NA instead of throwing in an LS4.

yeah man, I feel you on that.
I might actually try to find a low mileage rebuilt block thats street ported.
But to tell you the truth, I wouldnt mind rebuilding it despite the cost.
I'd never throw an LS in my seven.
