rebuild kit

Hey IM looking for a reasonable priced rebuild kit. The cheapest one I've been able to find is RB and it's like 1300. I've got an 87 Turbo II. is there any secrets or somewhere I can get it cheeper??

Well, I've got a good engine right now, it's just I've got a blown spare engine. I figured I would buy atkins rebuilding video, the full rebuild kit, and the porting templets from RB. I've never done a rotary rebuild before, but I like doing my own work, and I'm pretty mechanically inclined. I think I'm going to be doing quite a few rebuilds in the future and I think the cost of having it done and freight seeing that I there arnt any rebuilders around here would end up costing too much.

alright thanks alot.
p.s. has anyone used racing beats street port templets? are they pretty useful, and would it be worth while doing it myself?

make sure you do the exhaust as well. Removing the diffusers is a bitch if you have them, though.
