Good Job Felix, You did a great job. something you'll remember the rest of your life. Also its really good that you used the resources available to you. Your learning more that just engine building. Your looking at MIT right?? Rennselar polytechnic??? You better!! Don't waist that noodle on a business degree.

You should build those other peoples motor. Make some money at it. You found a place in the world as the black magic engine builder of Mass!!!! At least make enough money to fund your hobby. Hell I bought all this extra **** to build my motor now what am I going to do with it??? Let it sit on the shelf?? I could build 3-4 more motors before I use up the oils and gasket maker etc.

As far as when to build??? I would rebuild high mileage engines BEFORE they drop an Apex. Once that happens the $540 rebuild is out of the question.

Kewl

You should be proud of yourself. Not everyone, including me, wants to take on such a task. I just recently had mine done by someone else.

Good job, and keep up the work on your car.

Thanx

Michael

I think your FC is rivaling mine for how many various colors it can be, and how many parts were transplanted from other FC's. Mine currently has parts from 18 different cars, lol. The exterior is in 7 different colors.

Don't have any pics with me at the moment (I'm on vacation, again, woowoo!) But I've got parts from every year too!

'86 Base headlight assemblies
'87 Sport (original car, lol)
'88 Vert aluminum hood
'89 GXL (my former car) doors & bumper
'90 TII turbo & manifold
'91 rear bumper & mouldings & lights.

Ghetto represent!

Once a month for about two weeks. Always in the Cambridge/Boston area, don't have a vehicle to travel with when I'm over here.
