depends on who's doing the rebuilding: you or a mechanic.

i was quoted about $3500 for rebuilding my 91 n/a (new seals. bearings and housings), so that should give you a ballpark on your engine.

About $1,000US in all brand new Mazda parts.
Typical labor costs is around $1,000US and goes up from there.
High performance and upgrade parts would add to that...

Im going to rebuild it with a friend and its the first one we are going to attempt, Was also wondering if there is anything to look out for and anything to pay close attention to while rebuilting this?

Rebuild kit cost
here u should find a decent/good rebuild kit for ur car.. that is only the price to buy the kit.
