Is this reasonable ?

I am selling the 87 SE

1987 SE w/ 180k on the chassis
5k on a streetported rebuild
racing beat header
catco catylitic converter
Dual N1 stainless mufflers
Lightwieght 16" racing wheels w/ new tires
H4 conversion
custom interior
clear lenses
racing wires
Wings west body kit/ spoiler

New- coils, plugs, tps, fan clutch, polished alt, K&N filter

comes with but not installed- hks adapter, spare sensors, gxl adjustables w cut springs, front pads, Stock wheels..Wiring harness- more.

Paint is showing it's age and the interior has the typical vents an idiot surround problems.... The car needs a little work to run perfect but i drive it everyday and it runs great....

I put it in the local paper for $2650 OBO, is that resonable? Or should i lower the price?

I'd say it's in the ball park. You'll always have someone want to give you a lesser amount, so good starting point. To some a cheap paint job can be done for $300 and they would have a decent car. Motor would be the item most would be concerned about, and that's rebuilt. You just got to hit the right person.

If its running good and with those mods... I'd ask a bit more for it.... like 3000 or 3250.

You have to remember, people always want to talk you down... Plus, you have a rebuilt motor.....

stock 2nd gens that run well got for at least 2000 around here, even with a high mileage motor

Do you have more pics? I'm very close to the point where I can finally invest in a FC.

Sounds totally reasonable to me. But why are you getting rid of it?

I have 3 other rx-7's...This one has gotten to the point where i can't squeeze much more power out of it without another motor swap and I really don't want to go through that right now.. I have a 22month old daughter whom i look after durring the day and i don't feel comfortable drivng her around in the car in the front seat.....I really need a 4 seater and am shopping for a blazer. I just know that it's time to let this one go...I need to be responsible and think about my family. I will still have my 86 my 85 and my 81....well the 81 is going too.....anyways...it' in the for sale section too...if i got $2300 i'd be happy.

She looks very nice and clean. I wish I had the money right now, but with 6 days until house closing I can't spare any of it. Do you work for the poilice, or did you just drive down there and park your car in the middle of their lot just for pics? lol.
