Yep, probably just an old seal.
Also check the breather at the rear of the diff. It is clogged or has been replaced by a bolt, then that can cause internal pressure which will encourage seals to leak.

i will check the breather, and the wear( from it being old) does make sense i just didnt no if sense i fabricated a open diff drive shaft to work with it if that might have been the cause of the seal, ive driven to the airport( about 1.5 hrs) a handfull of times and took a 3 hr drive also me racing and drifting around and luckily nothing catostropic happend. thanx for the feed back and after i replace the seal im gna see if its the end of it and ill let u all know
Thank you
Thank you
it would be the front seal that looks like problem just from where the fluid is, possibly a stupid question but is the brether the drain or fill plugs or there is an actual breather?

impact gun and some sort of seal remover...
i'd look thru the FSM, but i think you can just zap the nut off pop off the driveshaft flange, change the seal and put it back together.
you may want a new nut, as its a nyloc, and you probably want to make sure it get torqued to the proper value.
the nut and crush tube DO set the pinion backlash, but it seems like if you just put it back like you found it, it is fine.
