Ok, so some support in the back of my car broke, causing the rearend to bounce up and hit the floorboard every time I let the clutch out. My mechanic couldn't even find the part, as it was "discontiued". I might be able to get a pic of it if you need one,

but is there any one here that can help me? I need that part. I would also like to know what caused it to break in the first place.

It broke because of age and abuse.

 

Check your thread in the FS section...

There's a pic of the bracket that broke... You can see the 2 bolts coming through it (that one is intact however)...
