Rear wheel bearing looking for a part number

Hey all,
I recently started on replacing the rear wheel bearings on my 86 base. However, I destroyed a type of seal or cover, shown in the picture below (courtesy of nillahcaz from an old thread) outlined in red. Searching the forums on this was futile. It appears as it functions as a dust cover for the bearing race side of the rear wheel bearing. I'm not entirely sure of its importance, but figured I would be better off safe than sorry.

Does anyone have a part number for this part, or know where I would find a replacement? I'll get in touch with my local auto parts center, but from what I've seen at online parts stores I may be SOL. Any help is appreciated!

You can try www.mazdatrix.com

I take it you are not talking about the metal dust cover that goes over the rotors, that you can probably find 100 of them by putting a want to buy on the for sale section.

Mazdatrix only lists the bearing, seal, and axle nut under the appropriate section. It's also not the dust cover that I'm looking for. Looks like it's made of similar material, though.

Is this a mazda part number? The only thing that turns up when searching is this Ebay posting (http://cgi.cafr.ebay.ca/WHEEL-BEARIN...Z370066283996), where it indicates the rear seal on the rear hub assembly.

The piece I'm looking for is on the other side of the hub. Neither the FSM not the manual on Mazdaspeed Motorsports even shows this part in the manual

I looked for a part number in the fiche, but it only shows as close as the rear axle flange. The part I need is ON the rear axle flange, and looks like it serves as a small dust cover. It is kept on the rear axle flange by the bearing race. I have a feeling a Mazda rep won't have a clue what I'm talking about either, but I'll give it a try.

look at the part that the Arrow is pointing Down to..26-154(no glasses on sorry)..it looks like That part IS the Seal you need,as is is located past the bearing..it should be like a DUST type Oil seal..I got the Mazda Part # for that par,.From the Fishe...and OH,the Mazda dealer should Have the Exact SAME parts Fishe.

26-139? That looks like a retaining clip to me. Come to think of it - the bearing race part number doesn't look like it's listed in that picture either.

I know this is an old thread, but I found that SKF p/n 22815 are the correct seals.
