Ok, so I bought a 90 rx7 with about 13k on the engine and 150k on the chassis. It had some interior electrical problems, but I got a good deal! I couldn't pass up a rebuilt street ported rotary. It had no rear view mirror, so I bought a stock one off ebay and it's got a bunch of extra wire harness's that don't connect anywhere(stock assembly had 3?). I have the stock sunroof and it appears that is the only harness coming out of my roof. That leaves 2 extra plugs; a second smaller one that connects to the sunroof switch and another smaller one for the lights. The lights and sunroof both don't work. Has the previous owner ripped out any wiring up there? I tore the headlining off and traced the wires around and nothing seemed to be snipped or torn out, all the stock sunroof wiring is there. It's bugging me out with only one plug up there, doesn't seem right. I searched and haven't found anything conclusive, the FSM didn't help, nor did the wiring diagrams(I can't read them that well). Anyone familiar with the light assembly up there? I can get some pics after work tonight.

Are you certain that you have a factory sunroof? What is the last Eight digits of your car and I can tell you. Only three types of overhead were made:

FB01-69-870 - Non USA 89-90
FB02-69-870 - w/o Sun Rf 89-92
FB03-68-870 - W/ Sun Rf 86-92
