Correct, the MS bar uses two holes already existent in the rear strut towers. Its a pretty nice unit IMO.

I have the CP racing bar. It does not fit the vert. I will sell this to anyone with a hardtop for 50 + shipping.
email me a sean1_54@yahoo.com if you want it

Maybe someone can explain to me how a rear strut bar does anything on these cars.
1. It doesn't have struts in the rear. Technically they are just coil overs since the shock body isn't responsible for any side loads in cornering. Therefore there no side load transmitted to the top, where the "strut bar" connects.
2. OK, so that leaves vertical spring loads... But the bar is attached to it's mount with a single bolt. That makes it a hinge, therefore no vertical load is transmitted to the other side.
I could see the triangulated versions doing *something*, but where are the downward tubes going? The diff? Why? It rotates around the axles, not the driveshaft (hence all the broken front diff mounts).
I'm not trying to be arguementative. I just fail to see the purpose of this piece from an engineering standpoint.
