rear rotor housing scratch
Hello all,
I have my 88 turbo 2 engine apart and I see that the rear rotor housing has a scratch on it. the rear rotor had an apex chip out on it.
The rest of the housing looks ok, no scratches or scrapes, although I know there are precise measurements to see if it has warped, ect.
The scratch is about half an inch long, and about as deep as the thickness of a fingernail, or a little less.
Would any expert out there have a rough idea if this would automatically condemn the housing, or is it not enough to cause a problem ?
any info is appreciated. I cant get a photo, my camera doesnt have the right lens, to zoom in like that..
thanks all
