Unhappy Rear end still knocks HARD after replacing the rear diff mount

i install the rear diff mount seeing most of the time thats why it knocks. But when ever i shift and i mean BARELY it will knock and rock the car almost. and its LOUD if it thuds hard enough u can hear ir like down the road. What else could it be? I shift normally and it thuds are, and when boost kicks in it thuds again in low gears. I need advice. and i have no one here in orlando i know that would fix it without scamming me. I came from tampa so i dont trust most rotary mechs right now because i feel im going to get scammed.

Did you check the rear camber links?

What kind of condition are your engine/trans mounts in? Still have the DTSS?

Its not a minor, or just a bump. its a hardcore CLANK SLAP BUMP THUD BITCH SLAP MY CARS REAR HARD noise shifting without riding the clutch hard unless it makes the noise bad so loud people can hear it far away. does it to when turbo boost kicks in in 1st and 2nd somtimes.

Thats great, and unless you snapped the front diff mount again its something else.

Also look up snubbers as mentioned by sub9lulu

Do you replaced the rear center link with the adjustable one that allows adjusting your camber? If so, have you maxed it out (screwed all the way in so it is it's shortestO)?

sounds like you may not have the key installed to for the front diff mounts two bolts. if it is clanking still you should be able to simply jack up the rear end and push the diff up. By doing so you will see where it is moving.

If you have a clunking noise when shifting and it is coming from the rear then it is almost definately the front differential mount. It may have been installed incorectly to begin with which is why you had a knock and still have a knock now.

Take pics and post them up so we can help you with it!

I have a similar problem after replacing every bushing except one - the subframe bushing. As CT said, jack-up the diff and check for what suspension bits are contacting the under-body. My rear links are making contact due to the subframe bushings being shot.

I even installed a snubber - no help. Delrin subframe bushing to the rescue.

Also check the play in the driveshaft and half-shafts; if they're worn it could be making a bit of a thud every time you get on or let off the gas.

I had the same problem. I had to replace all three of my tranny mounts and when I got to my front diff. mount, I saw that I had actually ripped the the diff. mount off the sub frame mount. I will tell you if I have any other problems when thats fixed
