Rear Brake Problem
I am in the process of replacing the rear brakes, calipers, struts and rotors and have run into a snag. The passenger side has had no problems being taken apart, however, the drivers side is being a real Bi#ch.
Here is the problem:
I unbolted the caliper (no problems here) and started to take off the bracket that holds the caliper and both (yes both) bolts broke off. Well I know that the part that holds the caliper has threaded holes but it acts like the other part has threads also ( I know that it does not) but it will not come off! I have beat and banged and it still does not want to come apart. I even tried using a chisel to wedge it apart and still, it will not budge. I am afraid to REALLY have at it because of damaging the parts.
Anyone else had this problem?
I am up for suggestions.
