rear brake calipers

i have a set of rear brake calipers from a 91 non turbo for the solid discs. I know a friend who may need rear calipers on his 86. i was wondering if the rear calipers were the same thoughout the years... would 91 solid disc rear calipers fit an 86?

yea if the rear is a vented rotor on one and the other has a solid rotor it wont fit bcuz the disk is too wide for the caliper to fit around it
