Really Stupid Newbie Questions

could anyone please explain the difference between FD and FC? Could someone please tell me the specifics about my car... '87 n/a... not gxl or gtu.... is it an S4 or S5 or whatever???? im so lost...thanks in advance

fc older model fd new model rounder looking, 255hp twin turbo. fc there are several different models, I think that yours is an se, im not upto date on n/a stats so i think it is. Yours is an s4 by the way. black side mouldings unless painted, and square taillinghts and other body differences.

i was thinking of trying to turbo it since i have an 88 gxl with a blown motor that i could use for doner parts that i need to fab... but i dont know... what do you guys think?

and while i have the intake manifold off i was gonna port it and replace all the vacuum hoses.

trying to turbo that thing should be the last thing you do, it will take a long time and cost much $ Instead get a racingbeat header and cat replacement pipe and get a better clutch, lighter flywheel, porting intake manifold, throttle body mod, vac spider removal, along with the removal of acv, airpump and some other crap there is no need for, You will also wanna do something like wire your 5th and 6th ports open or something? I dunno? but thats all i can think of, o yea, you can also get a fuell controller and i think that the stock fuel system is strong enough on that car for those mods, or you might wanna switch to a tII fuel pump which you can pick up pretty cheap.

thanks.... when i replace all the vacuum hoses that should thak care of the vacuum spider right? how do i wire the 5th and 6th ports open??
