Really good S5 Remapped ECUs

Ok... finally found an ECU that actually works. It's in my car and I'm having no problems with it. With my only upgrade being a boost controller, air filter and this ECU, my car makes 225hp at the wheels and 234lb-ft of torque. I have the stock exhaust still.
This is with the boost up to 14psi. The ECU is mapped to handle up to 1.7bar of boost, but my stock turbo won't push that much air. So I'm looking at a BNR turbo or clipping my existing turbo. I'll post the dyno sheet this evening.

The ECUs go for $525 with your old one as a core. If you are interested, call 253-565-9823 and ask for Doug.

14 psi is really pushing the stock turbo. I'd get a new one quickly before that one breaks

$525 seems like alot when u can get an s-afc for cheaper that works better. Sure it is a little bit more work, but you can customize it to your own preferance.

To say nothing of the other available options which allow you to have complete control over the engine's functions, as well as replacing the awful stock harness.

first off. there is no way you should be running that much boost with the stock exhuast. I wouldn't run more then 8psi with it. you are just putting sooo much stress on the engine and turbo by doing that.

2nd. there is no way any ecu could run 1.7 bar... stock injectors will max out around 12-14psi no mater what ecu you have.

don't bother with the turbo. first thing you need is an exhuast. then get a TID and intake.

turbo II's make 225RWHP at 10psi with an exhuast and intake. you shoudln't need 14.

now turn your boost down before you blow everything up

I'm just curious now. Why can't an ecu run 1.7bar? Can you point me to some reading that will confirm what you say? I just want to understand it all.

14 LBS and only 225 HP. That doesn't add up. You can get a remapped ECU, fuel/air/spark, and on a S Turbo, you'll have nearly that amount with 6 lbs less boost. RB exhaust will give you @ 10 lbs and 250HP. Yes, they can program the stock computer for 16/18 lbs., but 25Lbs???. If it programmed to that amount, or any amount far beyound stock levels, you'll need all the mods to accommodate that boost, or away it goes.
