Real Turbo2?

Hey, just wondering? I thought they said turbo2 and had a wing of some sort? Thanks for looking.

Not all 87-88 Turbo II's had wings from the factory. What is the vin #? That will tell you if it's a true TII or not.

Well did u check under the hood and the vin# so far i am assuming it is a TII an 87 TII
because of the wheels, mirrors, hoodscoop, stock boost guage on the guage cluster, and the seats. Well best if you check under the hood or vin# Not all TII came with the wing, or unless the previous owner took it off.

sweet, thanks for the advice. I'll probably check the vin to be 100% sure.

you wont able to see the turbo in the engine bay if it stock, because the air pump is blocking it from site, also heat shield, etc. You can usually tell by the engine bay with the Stock TMIC on top of the UIM.

1987 was an option.
It was standard on all 1988's.
It was standard on all 1989 - 1991's too.

Isn't this in the FAQ stickies?

Looks to me like its a real TII. To be sure, the VIN should start with JM1 FC331 for a non-turbo, and JM1 FC332 for a Turbo.

I feel sorry for that poor car. Is there even a soul left in that battered machine?

if you can't fit your hand down the passenger side of the engine then it's a stock T2

Very picture-esq with the single leaf ontop of the scoop.

The paint is horrible, but why do the wheels have virtually no curb rash or damage??!

Thats what I thought ... until the clutch pedal fell to the floor (I think the pedal broke since there is no leaking of the CMC, CSC, or lines) and the battery turned out to be defective...

But to be honest, I'm loving every second of it.

Every morning when I wake up to goto work and walk outside and see my TII sitting there. It just feels good.

Feels even better when I come home and it's still sitting there :p
