Re: Car<heat<t-stat.....

OK, I got my t-stat today. No, it's not from the factory. I didn't have time to go to Fort Walton Beach (like 1˝hrs away to get it from the dealer...) going to put it on tonight(I hope) and see if that'll help any. Hopefully this weekend I'll have the Mazda t-stat.

Question - they didn't have the gaskets in stock .. if the ones on the car now can still be used, can I use them until I get the ones in stock? (I'll go to discount auto parts tomorrow - and it'll take them two days or so to get them in...) or should I wait?

if its just temporary, then just use a bunch of sealant. the new mazda thermostat should come with a gasket.

Hmm.. I have one more question... Would any of this cause a great deal of loss in power... or does that mean my cats are clogged? What is wrong with my baby, that I can't figure out?
