RB Vert Springs of Vert Suspension "Package"???

what do you guys think. is it worth it to just order the suspension package that rb offers with the vert springs and front and rear sway bars or should i just go for the springs??? do the sway bars net you a noticeable difference in handling over no sway bars??

thanks

The 88 vert uses a different stabilizer bar (I hate the mis-name of sway bar) in the rear. It is a 13mm bar so if the RB vert package includes the stabilizer bars with the spings then I would get both.

But if the package is just springs, and you are thinking of adding a set of coupe stabilizer bars, then I would just get the springs, see how that works, then if I felt I needed more, I would try a couple different sets of stabilizer bars and see which ones works best.

With any drop in ride height, you'll need some additional adjustability to correct rear allignment. Racing beat sells an adjustable camber link (see below) with 0.7 degrees of correction with no mods, but to get 1.7degres of correction you'll need to dimple the floorplan for more adjustability (otherwise the control links bump against the floor pan). Alternately if you don't want to dimple the floorpan you can buy AWR Racing's adjustable control links (Mazdatrix sells them too) in conjunction with RB's camber link.

I have this setup on my convertible and it's great. RB's springs, Tokico Shocks (Blue non-adjustable), RB swaybars, RB end links, RB rear camber adjust, AWR "REAR CONTROL ARM CAMBER ADJUSTER"

RB

AWR (they use a greese fitting).

please excuse my noob question - can anyone tell me what the rubber connecting piece is called which I have circled in the attached picture? I was changing rear brake pads last week and with the car jacked up I could easily move this connector by hand - it felt that where is was attached at the bottom was loose. So, is this normal and if not will it affect my ride quality?

Thanks (& sorry for the hijack!)
