I need to know how far the header goes in the stock exhaust system so I can plan my custom exhaust work. I know the length of the header I am just wondering where and on what part of the exhaust system (stock) the header ends. I hope I make sense lol.

it won't match up with anything on the stock system, but you should have a big gap between the end of the header and the main cat

 

I know but how long would that gap be?

 

I'm going off memory here, but the gap is going to start approximately half a foot back from where the bellhousing on the trans meets the engine, and end maybe 8" forward of the frontmost part of the rear subframe.

Where you collect it in that space is up to you.

 

I figured it out. It's about 30 inches behind the beginning of the Y pipe.
