RB Header Questions
I have an 88 N/A and with the fuel costs going up more and more, and the never ending quest for more power I've been thinking about the RB header and new O2 sensor.
My question is...does anyone make or know where to get a collector of some sort so I could hook up the header temporarily to my stock exhaust system. I don't have the money to buy the full road race system yet but I'm seriously considering the header option.
Searched and so far nothing relevant...

If you get the header and presilencer they will bolt up to the stock Y pipe. Sometimes you can find them used for a good price. Be warned though, the stock muflers will sound like ***.

Yo! I've been in your shoes with the header thing.... I have a used collected RB header for my '88 SE. I upgraded to the full RoadRace system last year. My old collected header is stashed in my attic & in decent shape. PM me if you are interested. I had bought a "catalyzer" piece that connected to the y-pipe from the header that had the air tube for the 5th & 6th port actuators. I through that thing away though... Just a warning - it really sounded terrible....like a swarm of angry bees. The full RoadRace sounds awesome & quiet as well. I would try & save up the bucks for the full system.
