RB Header/Presilencer

RB Header/Presilencer
I'm looking to pick up the rb header/presilencer combo... I was wondering which cats it replaces (if any) and if i'll still pass smog tests... Has anyone bought this combination? Were there decent power gains? I have an NA 87

Ok, first and foremost, you cannot run cats w/ just the header and expect it to bolt right up. The header is longer than the precats. Don't order one w/o ordering the other. I have both, and you should expect a very substantial gain. And no, you will not pass smog.

Just save your old setup, and swap it back in each year. Racing Beat claims that www.mazdatrix.com sells a cat that will botl up to the header and cat-back. Good luck!!
