RB exhaust..

Quick question... I have the Full RB exhaust on my S5 Non Turbo.

My question is could i take that exhaust off from the header and use the Pre-silencer back on my TII??

Or are they built differently??

I think it will be the same but i wanna be 100 percent sure!!!

Thanks!!

They are the same cat back, but I am not sure about for cat forward since the Turbo normally does not use a pre-silencer

Sure you can. Been there, done that.

You just need a RB 2 1/2 inch TII downpipe to mate the turbo to the presilencer. You might have to do some modification to the hanger bracket on the presilencer. You just end up with just a bit more flow restriction where the Y pipe meets the NA exhaust cans compared to the cat-back TII cans.

If you need a RB downpipe for this purpose, PM me. I can hook you up on one near new for $100 plus shipping. Even already has the bung for an EGT which is a PITA to find otherwise.

I think Icemark already answered that question.

I have a NA exhaust on my TII setup and it works just fine. The pipes in the catback are just a bit smaller. I don't think its going to have a huge damper on power.
