Question RB Dual Alt Pulley??

Anybody got a link to this? Also, anybody use the Rotary Performance one? Also, with the airpump removed and the addition of the pulley...you should gain about 3 to 5 HP, right? Adding a pulley I know frees up about 3HP, so you should get at LEAST that much....any info is appreciated.

Dual pulleys don't give hp. They just keep the waterpump from cavitating at high RPM.

You people focus on hp too damn much.

I dont worry about it, its just nice to know how much you get. But adding a power or UD pulley does give you a little HP, even if a dual pulley doesnt.....
..BTW RP says that they recommend using the main UD pulley along w/ the dual Alt pulley to remedy the waterpump belt slipping, but I know as Mazdaspeed7 was saying that if you do this and you have a efan or big sound system, it'll draw to much power, it that true, does it really make a big difference?

I'M to lazy to go find the link but i know it's under the cooling section at racingbeat. i am going to go with just the alt dual pulley that should do the job just fine, i dont see the need for a dual main pulley as well.

Just go to the autoparts store and get a standard 1/2" shank alternator pulley with 2 grooves. I think mine came from Pep Boys.

I posted this a few weeks ago, no way am I going to pay $40 + for a damn pulley. I went to check with some alternator shops around here and they were going to put the pulley in for me for $10 but they didn't have the right size and the damn auto parts stores don't sell pulleys
