I want to eliminate the pre cats and go with a new high-flow main cat on my 88 SE. Will the RB downpipe do the job and fit in the place of the pre-cats and bolt right up to a new main cat? I live in NJ, and our emissions tests are severe, so I've got to keep the main cat.

Vaughn - Which cat is that? Did you have to weld on the ends with the flanges, or is that the way is came out of the box?

Single High Flow Magnaflow 93516. Yeah I just re-used the flanges from the OEM exhaust so everything bolts up. Makes swapping cats or a test pipe REAL easy.
