Raw fuel smell at high rpms/speed

I find that if im giving it hard on the hiway, i can smell faintly the smell of raw fuel, but if im just driving without boosting (its a tII s4) i dont smell it. Just when i give it hard and rev it high. Could this be leaky/plugged injector? Im also noticing worse than average fuel mileage lately ( about 250km to a tank) compression is 105 and 100, cant find any other probs. Suggestions?

Any fuel puddles, or the smell of fuel, on the upper part of the engine upon shutdown?

Can you smell exhaust gases along with the fuel smell?

ya something might be clogged up in there....clean the injectors see what happens....Also for everyone else i dont know how many of you do this but some of that injector cleaning stuff you put in when you fuel ur car will prolly help on all problems like this one... a bottle maybe 3-6 months apart is fine. if you do it like it says on the bottle its over kill no need to do it....Bottles say every time you fuel...

Is your charcoal canistor clogged? I doubt fualty injectors would be to blame, the groomets or o-rings woukd if that were the case..

Hey, now that's the best guess I've heard all night

But why would it only do it at high loads? Maybe the purge valve is screwy...Or one of the hoses fell off somewhere?
