car runs better when overheating?????

this is a wierd one...... i just got my car back on the road... when i hit boost, it tends to sputter a little bit, and for a few days, that was okay... until it OVERHEATED..... it pegged the "h", so i shut her down for a few minutes (half an hour).... when i got back in the car, and started driving it, the sputter was gone, and when the turbo kicked on, it pulled like crazy!! i mean, this wasnt a sutle difference, this was like using a 100 shot of nos everytime that little hairdryer spooled!!! BUT....... the next day, it was back to normal..... ..... it has done that twice to me...and both times it was after my car overheated, and i shut her down for a while..... ?????????? what could be causing this???? i want her to drive like that constantly!!!

Only thing i can think of is that the heat might be loosening something in the engine... I'm not to keen on the rotary side of things so... and do you know what is making the sputter?

Its possible that the heat is affecting one or more of the sensors within the engine... tis a weird one.

If anything, I'd be wondering how it overheated..

not positive on the whole overheating issue, i think that the radiator i put in it is too small (i used a radiator out of a 87 na auto) (it was brass, so i thought it would be stronger).... but it might be fine...... im gonna buy a fluidyne radiator, meziere electric water pump, greddy radiator caps, new t-stat, and samco radiator hoses this month (if the $ rolls in)... so, the overheating problem should dissapear!
