alright guys i have a weird one for ya, i bought and s5 gtu and when i drive it something in the engine bay rattles like a bucket of rocks. it only does it if you are lugging it, like if i am at 3k and i open the throttle to much it it rattles but once i get past like 5k it stops and it pulls hard all the way to redline, so what do you think it might be.

 

How many miles on the car? does the engine rattle when it's idleling?

 

new rebuild with 1500 miles on it, no it doesnt do it at idle just when you give it too much throttle and it boggs also it does it when i start out

 

hmm.... maybe something to do with injectors? what condition are they in?

 

not sure still have to pull them

 

if it's new rebuilt 1500 miles......treat it nice man, dont drive too hard untill u get 3000 or more miles on it. anyhow, check injectors, spark plug/wires....u said it bogs, it might be a tuning issue too, are u running stock ECU?

 

ya everything is stock on it except for rb header and a nine and a half pound fly wheel
