Rats nest query

I've got my dynamic chamber off and ready to switch out my pulsation dampener. With everything out of the way and taking a good look at the engine, I started thinking about the rats nest removal. I live in Virginia where everyone fails for an exhaust leak (you could probably bring in a just purchased vehicle) anyway would this mod be for me? If so how would I go about it? I've got an 88 gtu n/a. 1987Rx7guy, did you ever get that write-up uh.. written up
hit me back

Last I remembered Virginia did not do emissions testing. Have they changed something since I moved in May?

You probably could get away with removing all that stuff being that most shops do not know all that much about a rotary engine. And if you find the right shop, they will just do a small visual inspection, check belts, lights, and wheels.

Yeah, Stafford county does emissions, but about 15 min away in Spotsylvania they don't... go figure... anyway most places ive been to do. So I reckon I would remove/reroute everything to let my car breathe more? If i were about to, what could i cap off and what would have to be rerouted?
