randomly dying

ok, now my car runs fine strong engine no major probs, but every now and then itll just die on me, usually when taking right hand turns, and it kicks out a lot of bule smoke (oil) could they be connected? i tightened up my battery connections and my batterys good, so what could it be? and eirlier today it cranked up and died 3 times in a row, i had to give it gas to keep it from dying, perhaps my afm?
anyway any feedback is appriciated, also my idle started bouncing around the same time all this happened.
thx
ben

Normally if a FC dies going around the corner (as covered in the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section) you have a dirty fuel sock in the gas tank. You would always want to read the entire FAQ for FC sticky thread before posting.

If this only happens on lift throttle and clutch in then I'd be looking at a bad or dirty BAC
