I was less the a km to the next exit...
if the copper didnt chase me I wouldnt have run. Police chases should be illegal. I wasnt hurting anyone doing 140 on a straight strech of highway.

Most of street racing accidents are happening after the ******* police break it up and they are all trying to get away.

Im not saying it was a GOOD thing and im not saying I would do it again! So dont get mad at me. It done and over and the fact is no one did get hurt, and I learned and know i made a mistake.

Don't let it happen again.... I'm sure after this, the courts will be sure it won't. Can you say, "no more drivers liscense?"

just got kinda choked reading that you ran from a cop, then drove between two cars, then on the shoulder... then driving on the wrong side of the road, then how you almost hit a car on the oncoming lane!

one of those cars that you coulda hit could have been someone i knew, or you knew right?

anyhow, dont let it happen again for sure .. !

As was said by the other poster..
You sir, are an idiot...

What kind of logic is "If the copper didn't chase me, I wouldn't have run" .. If the cop didn't chase you, you would have continued speeding like a little freak anyways...

Do humanity a favor..blow your motor and buy a schwinn..

The funny part is, most likely someone has already read this and submitted it to the police in that area...

All I can say is THANKS *******, you're just one more reason why the police take extra-special care in ticketing fast cars...

Ive had my fill of accidents, I wouldnt let that happen again. I am very lucky I didnt cause an accident or hurt anyone. Maximum penalty for dangerous driving in 5 years.

The cop did say something about his transmission - I just think he was admiring the rx7 though Nah actually I really do think he should have caught up to me cause there was no way I should have been pulling from him like that.

Yeah I do have a good comment about police and fair ness. Just last night my gf was driving in her tercel 80km in a 50km zone...there was a car following for about 10 seconds and then the COP turned his cherries on. I was like "Join the club heheh" She pulls over and the cop turns his lights off and passes her.

Lol, I was doing 70 in a 50 zone just to get over a hill and got pulled over and ticketed.

I guess because your so young, you think that it was cool.

It was stupid. I hope your insurance sky rockets, because you just help the insurance companies prove that young people under 25 are the worst drivers.

Maybe you, your neighbors, and the citizens of your area will get lucky and they will suspend your license until you are 25.

Funny, of all the car's I've had, the black 7 has gotten the LEAST attention.
Weird.
Oh, and you're an idiot, but I'm sure the adrenaline rush was SWEET!
To bad it's not Hollywood...
You can outrun a cop, but you will NEVER outrun their radios.
There's hundreds of them, and one of you. Think about it.

That's a BS excuse. You came and told your stupid story here, thinking you'd actually get some support. It's guys like you who make it so much harder for the rest of us. Why the hell would we want to know what a complete idiot you are? Unless you have a question about these cars or some useful info to share with the rest of us, keep your damn mouth shut.

If I was doing at least 150 mph + and I passed a cop, I would hammer it. Why? Because when I go 150+ there is absolutely no one around, so if he wants to pull me over he will have catch up, and I promise he will not. Bitch and moan if you want, I don't condone running from cops in a voletile situation, nor do I condone driving like an idiot on the street, unless there is absolutely no one around at 2am.

But if I'm doing 150 past a cop at 3am on an empty 4 lane highway, he is not catching up.

You're right... they don't need to catch up... just call up the next county over and setup a road block. Then your car gets confiscated, you lose your license, you go to jail for several months, you have massive fines to pay...

Oh wait that's right, most places are more lenient than Ohio when it comes to speeding

no wonder us ppl with nice cars get pulled over and get in different **** b/c of you idiots. LIke they have your freaking license plate number. you think you actually got away with this/???? I seriously hope that they suspend your license for a while. If i knew your license plate and where you live, i would tell the cops for sure to do yourself and everybody else on the community a favor.

Please dont do run from cops man. 1st because others may get hurt. And 2, if you act like a dick to cops, then you surely will get a ticket. I drive fast once in a while but If I know I am getting pulled over, I slow down, and right when he does pull me over, I get off the road and stop. I have my liscence and registration on hand ready to go. I dont argue with the cops. Everything they say is right. Dont BS them, just agree. If he says your lights are illegal on the car or something to that effect, then say I will get them fixed as soon as possible, I am sorry. I havent gotten a ticket in over 3 years. (except for parking tickets), However I have been pulled over and gotten warnings several times just because what I beleive is admitting you were doing wrong.

Be carefull out there M8

I used to think it was "cool" to run from the cops...until I had officers from 2 cities chasing me. I learned to do the math REAL quick, 1 really low to the ground rx7+ 1 roadblock on a rural road + a lot of pissed off cops and one cocky 18 year old kid=jail time and a suspended license for 2 ½ years! Needless to say, I never ran from the cops again. Probably the most stupid thing ive ever done, but hey, i was 18 and invincible!
