rally lights?

what do you think of this?

what would be the best way to "finish off" the hole around the lights?

edit: also with the tri-point wide body fenders.

Talking

Some kind of subtle black trim.

Why are you doing that anyway? Why do you need those things??

I've just been very bored with it lately.....thought very hard about selling it.
But I think I'm going to do an LS1 swap and then the tri-point wide body <always liked that look. Also like the look of the old rally cars with the "big" lights.

I just miss the sound of a big cammed V-8 but I really don't want to give up the sports car handling. I thought about a Vette but really I just don’t want to spend the money (just bought another house).

I still haven’t decided yet….but I’m leaning in that direction.

You'd really sacrifice the bumper support for a couple of fugly lights?

Just a thought, besides it wouldn't be that hard to make a new/modified bumper support.

a 10th ann. is not worth anymore than any other RX-7....unless it has super low miles.
Mine was wrecked before I bought it.

Well it's your car, I won't stop you haha. I think the lights could probably look good if they were a little more spaced apart.

yeah I would space them out a little more. So I might be able to fit a naca duct in between them.

I've never worked with fiberglass before but it might be fun to try to make an air box something like this one but in fiberglass.

Maybe you didn't notice, but those lights are round. The turn signals are rectangular. The flash-to-pass lenses are rectangular. The headlights are rectangular. The car is rectangular. No part of this car is "smooth" or "round", except for the rims. Notice a trend here?

Those look terrible, no matter how much spacing you make. If you want a different look, get an S5 bumper with a lip, and Dltzreen's head lights.
