rain is evil
rain is evil
It's been raining liek a **** for like a week now in PA...and today I found my drivers side floorboards are soaked (as in standing water still in there)....I cant see any moisture above the floor to tell where its leaking so badly...any suggestions on where to look?
um maybe it flooded hardcore and got wet from underneath
but yea whats up with the rain here its nuts it stopped raining for
like an hour yesterday so i went to mow since its like ten feet long due to the rain
and sure enough half way though drip..drip...hey that feels good...starts pouring...motha f*cker. I heard there was flooding all over so pa so if the car was outside maybe thats whats up

Check that the drians in the bottom of the door are clear, when they are plugged (even 50%) a heavy rain can cause the bottom of the door to fill with water and it will spill over just behind the door interior onto the area you describe.
If you want to check the windshield for leaks, get a cup of water and mix some dishsoap with it. Have a buddy in the car with an air blower and slowly pour the water along the top of the glass, follow the stream of water with the blower, if you get bubbles - you've got a leak.
Also check that you sunroof pan drains and hatch jamb drains are clear also....never hurts....

Rubber plugs under the carpet
There are drain holes underneath the carpet that are plugged with rubber plugs.
Perhaps one or more of your plugs are not there?

I am agreeing with the windshield leak or door drain comments. My fiancee's vert has a **** ton of leaks, many that were poorly resealed with foam, which didnt work at all. Needless to say ALL NEW seals will be ordered from wherever they are most affordable. lolol The windshield lower seal is leaking on hers which causes it to trickle down the dash. Check the door seal as well, if it is leaking at all the water will gush in... are the seats wet at all? That is a tall-tell sign.
thanks for the imput guys...I'm thinking its the "water track" as mentioned becau seI found soem moisture behind the carpet up under where the pedels would be...so I reckon I'll be messin with that..I also found a clogged drain lien from the sunroof, and a plugged on for the hatch

We had bad rain in Georgia on Friday and Saturday --- it resulted in the death of one of my high school friends and the *hopefully temporary* half blinding of another - each driving in a seperate car.
On the bright side, we're still in a drought down here, but maybe the rain is helping? Lake lanier is down 5.5 feet.
