Radiators, are they really that lame ?

these rads. are weak by design, doesn't flow worth a ****, or is mine clogged with crap ? removed it, stuck the garden hose in it and turned it on and that **** don't flow.. does this happen alot ? i just got a turboII and i'm not to sure,, yeah,, a noob, but i've had a 1st gen for years and i'd like to get this car to where it can be driven in traffic without starting to over heat. it has the stock fan and shroud but it's missing the 'tray' under the rad./engine. i know the 'tray' isn't the cause but i'm going to fabricate one out of aluminum anyway soon here. any thoughts ?

koyo makes a great radiator. I plan on getting one myself!
The stock radiators are prone to cracking in all four corners giving ya a nasty leak...
Had it happen to me twice! Taught me not to buy radiators from the junkyard!

That's a really good price. Is it a four core? If it is, I'd swoop on it granted that a stock radiator from Kragen's is about $230...

I just threw in an all metal replacement rad from Napa auto parts ( about $150) and a new oil cooler w/stainless lines- now my 'vert barely gets above 1/8 towrsd the "h" on the gauge, on a hot day sitting in traffic with the a/c cranking
