Radiator question and opinions wanted

Ok my Radiator is messing up right now. Every time I turn the car off I can smeel coolant. So I open the hood and take a look and it appears that its boiling over or something because its all around.

Anyway my car isn't overheating, but I am just paranoid about it. Heck the Add Coolant light comes on sometimes to (it has plenty).

So with that said I need a new radiator. I no my choices are slim so I was thinking of getting the Fluidyne. I read how to install it on www.fc3s.org and it seems pretty straight foward to install.

Are there any other radiator's out there that don't require relocation of the battery?

Also I'm pretty sure the Fluidyne is the one I am going with (unless someone in here convinces me otherwise). So where is the cheapest place to pick one of these bad boys up from?

If you'd rather go stock, 1800radiator.com has good cheap radiators for under $200. I replaced mine 2 months back and am very happy with it's performance.

Well I am going to be doing alot of mods on this car so I figure upgrading to a bigger radiator would be a good thing to do now rather than replacing stock now then later spending more on a upgraded unit.

If your coolant is boiling, it is overheating! This will also cause the coolant smell, although this could also be a leak.

From what you've said, that’s a big assumption. Before you replace the radiator, you should isolate the cause of your cooling problem. There are many other things it could be, some a lot more likely than the radiator, i.e. thermostat. Buying a bigger radiator now may mask this problem until the next time you really push the car or when you start modifying.
If it is the radiator, then ditch that sucker and get something that’ll handle your planned mods. If it isn’t, fix the problem first.
