radiator problem

Exclamation radiator problem

[B] I was driveing my rx7 after replaceing the thermostat and water pump. Everything went great. When i parked it and got out the radiator blew out a plug. The plastic plug on the top of the radiator, but not the air pressure plug. some strange large plug towards the front. Please help!!

What radiator cap are you using?

It could be that you are using the wrong Pressure Cap. Stick with a Stock 13 psi pressure cap and see if it helps.

its a 13 lb radiator cap, but the cap on the radiator is some flat plasitc thing and its not in the manual

Sounds like it blew out the water level, sensor.. Let me guess, the old style plastic top radiator?

thats what I am thinking, and yes I run the same radiator... cant wait to put in my new CSF one

Would a fluidyne rad/ FAL e-fan cimbo work good? (i read that the single FAL fan fits over an FC rad perfectly, but quality wise? It IS alum, but i dunno.)

Yea go with an aluminum one. My plastic sh*t cracked and caused my car to overheat severly, and stranded me alot farther than walking distance from my house.
