Unhappy radiator issue? i need help!

so last night i over revved the engine and the radiator hose blew off. we found that it was already corroded, and that the clamp was still in place just the rest of the hose was split off.

we went back this morning with a new clamp, reattached the hose and fluid is still poring out. however the coolant is still in the tank, which is full.

what ever is poring out smells like fish
my friend from rx8 club said it might radiator but the fluid is poring out near the hose. Now im sure its not the hose cause the clamp is definitely tight.

its overheating like crazy

please, i really would appreciate the help!

I hate that smell. But I think your friend on RX8club is right, it sounds like the radiator is pissing fluid, might be time to get a new shiny one.

Go with Fluidyne or Koyo.
Stay away from half-plastic, half-metal ones!
TII radiators and N/A radiators should be the same. Only difference is if you switch to FMIC.

yeah im glad to hear that!
i want something so i could at least get it running today, its my dd so its a definite stab in the face.

i might have to get a used oem one so i can at least move around

well turns out it probably not the radiator.
The leak is coming from near the hose itself. but its definitely not the hose itself.
the leak is in that general area
wats going on!

were about to put it on some 3foot stands and check it out, any suggestions would be great!

Could always be the hose fitting that's apart of the radiator.
Those are easily bent if you're rough with it.

the hose Fittings?..if you are referring to what you PUT the Hose on At the rad..it is Plastic!..it either Seals or Cracks..but never Bends!..There are some Brass rads out there though, like OEM..But hey,if you are "upgrading" the Cheaper of teh To between the KOYO and the Fluidyne is the KOYO.
