We don't know how much-how long it takes to break down. 10,000 is a guess but might be a resonable one. I don't know.

Can you use it? Yes.
How long will it last? I don't know.

My rad hoses (90 degree bends mostly) used for my intercooler piping are still fine...About 2.5 years now...
