Racingbeat Header and other Racing Beat Components

I purchased the racing beat header collector, as well as the presilencer and cat replaement pipe. The place that installed it for me just put the header and presilencer, and told me the other pipe wont work. Is that true, also right now the car has staight pipes from the presilencer back and its sound like ****, like a stoockcar. If i put the stock mufflers back on will that quiet it down, i also have a stage 3 street port

The pre-silencer installs in place of the cat, so the test pipe is not needed.

Get the racing beat cat back and it will sound mean as hell. You are going to need SOME mufflers of some sort.

even putting on some glass packs would make it sound nice... Not to mention it keeps your exhaust open. I just dont know how long a set would last before melting... Probably not too long

The sound is definately improved, and the glasspack wont melt if you get a good one for awhile. I have one that has been on for almost a year, still holding up. The paint will melt off though in the first 15 minutes.

The RB catback is awesome...sounds great and flows well. IMO these cars NEED mufflers, you would be crazy to run a straight pipe back, its just too damn loud !

Sounds good to me!

Cheap mufflers filled with fiberglass. Ask your local Pepboys/Autozone what they are. Its a generic term I believe. They'll know.

I'm anxious to know how it sounds and performs!
