Racing Chip Wanted!!

Hey, I'm looking for a racing chip for my FC -- any idea of any that are good? I looked on eBay and the only one that looked good was for a TII -- any ideas or compliments would be appreciated!

There's not an N/A chip available, to my knowledge. Get an S-AFC and tune it.

Yeah the chips that are available, none of which work in a S4, and any others generally not in a N/A.

I have got a couple of people that say they are working on chips for the N326/N327 and N33X ECUs, and they are supposed to send me some to try, but every one I have seen just does not work correctly. I keep hopeing.

It might be that the majority of the chip work is done in Japan, and just removing the speed limiter there is a big thing.

Honestly if you beleive that **** your not even worthy of a real car. Go get a honda and get your "chip". None of those EBAY products are foreal. Only if they are used EMS or piggy backs will they do anything at all.

You already have an S-AFC from what I talked to nick about so just tune the thing and enjoy what was supposed to be my car dammit!

Hahaha "Who pissed in your Wheaties" -- GOOD ONE!

As for me taking your car, so what! Too bad!

Well, S-AFC Is just a fuel controller... not really a chip-- changing the fuel mixture can be harmful to your engine.

That one is a 50 cent resistor in a 25 cent box. All it does is make your ECU think the air coming into it is cooler than it really is.

A fuel controller used properly will yeild MPG and HP. If you blow your engine up it is because you didn't know how to tune. I suggest you take some of these other guys seriously. THERE ARE NO chips buy a stand alone or tune the S-AFC. About you getting that car it was a joke. I don't have 6G's

BTW if you wanted MAD hP y0! you should have bought a TII not an N/a.

what do you think a chip does??....

chip changes it to some random numbers that will hopefully be better for your car.

AFC changes it to the exact settings you need asuming you do it right...

and if you think you are gona get 40hp from a chip or tuning your AFC... dream on. maybe like 5 LOL

You know what? Aside from this topic, you are about 3 seconds from really getting on my nerves. Your little elitist attitude is what gives the rest of us a bad name. If you cant be constructive, why dont you just step back from the keyboard for a few?

*edit*

You know what? how you have gotten this far with out warnings is beyond me...

exactly man!! I'm a newbie at this stuff... this will be my first Rotary ever... and I'm only 16 so I don't know much about them- I don't know jack **** about an S-AFC Controller -- the only thing I know is that it can harm your engine if you go too rich or too lean, so how in the hell am I supposed to know how to tune it correctly?!?

Why did u get it if you cant tune it? Ive never dyno tuned a car but from what Ive gathered this is what you do.

Figure out what your air:fuel ratio should be at different rpms

Go to a dyno and get an air:fuel reading while you make a run

Adjust the fuel by means of the controller to get the air:fuel ratio you want

There is no magical 40hp you can just slap on to a non-turbo RX-7, do you really think its that easy?
