Racing beat twin exhaust pics
Hi,
just wondering if you guys could post some pics of your FC's with the racing beat twin systemsfitted.
Nobody down here in australia uses them, so i havent been able to see any in the flesh.
Ive found a couple of pics here when i searched & was a bit concerned about how low the mufflers sit.
The design with the outlet tip at the bottom looks like it is designed so the muffler sits up high in the stock spot & the tip should come out just inside the cut out.
But the pics i have seen, the mufflers arent up very high & the tips sit like 2inches below the cut out. Personally i think it doesnt look right.
Is this just how the person has installed it with the hangers, or doesnt the system fit like i would like.

the mufflers are sagging because people don't replace their exhaust hangers when they do the install. I bought a few new ones (not all) and they helped tremendously. if you buy 4 of the donut type, that should be all you need for the mufflers unless all of your hangers are shot.

Ok guys, here are my pictures. A few notes though before the pictures, I installed the whole exhaust system with the help of a friend, no hydraulic lifts or anything just a couple of ramps, a couple of guys, and a hell of a lot of hard work.
Also, one of my mufflers sits higher than the other, i have no idea why, i havent figured that out yet and i DID replace EVERY SINGLE HANGER. Only the donut hangers on the ends of the mufflers fit and the hangers on the pre silencer fit, none of the other hangers could cover the gap, it just was not possible for me, i absolutely could not make them work but i'll ask mazdatrix about that later.
Also, it isnt the mufflers that you should be worried about, if you have a true dual system, you'll be worrying about the presilencer...it hangs very very low, speed bumps are a problem is you have low suspension and so are some driveways so be careful. The silencer will hit your transmission and make ur gearbox move up and down so be careful.

No shipping for me bro, i live like 15 mins away from Mazdatrix, i just went and picked it up one piece at a time.
Let me tell you tho, the true dual is well worth the price, i absolutely love it, plus if you have bad compression on one rotor, you'll know even without a compression test cuz you arent shooting flames out of one of the pipes....LOL

thnxs for the pics guys. Im thinking about buying the whole turbo back twin system, but replacing the presilencer with a highflow cat.
How loud would you guess this system would be on a stock ported engine?

It's the quietest exhaust I've heard on a rotary (outside of stock). Why would you replace the presilencer with a cat anyways? It's pretty straight through as it is.

i was thinking for emmsions reasons, massive fine from the EPA over here if you get caught without one.
Also i was hoping by running a cat i can help keep the exhaust smells down.
