I think theres nothing you can do , he has 18's and 2 subwoofers.

But in the other hand a fuel cut defence could work with a better flowing exhaust.

If you can ditch the cats for a straight exhaust you should not have a problem beating him, oh as long as you have a FCD, if not you will hit fuel cut......

As long as your car is in good running shape, the cats aren't clogged, and you don't suck at driving, your car is faster. You have a few more horsepower stock, and WAY more torque.

If he's adjusted that VTEC controller and he's still running stock cams, it'll be even easier.

3 tops RWHP.

EDIT: That's for TOTAL top end power. Taking out your cat probably helped your low to mid range alot better though.

street drag racing is kinda dumb, especially when you make plans a couple days in advance to race someone. i dont think its a big deal if your at a stop light with no traffic around and another guy pulls up next to you and wants to race, but when you go and schedule it thats just dumb. most of the time your just seeing who has the faster car because most people know how to shift so its almost like seeing who put more money into their car.

He never mentioned it was street racing. I'm hoping it's at the track.

Don't gut your cat. Those things are worth some money(especially to me since I'll ned it when emissions comes)

You can have a muffler shop weld a "Race pipe" for you or you can buy the Racing beat Presilencer and actually have a good soundding ride.

I just hope you have enough fuel to go with a high flowing exhaust.

If your doing a real race then take some turns as well and you'll be a shoe in.
