Smile race pipe

I just purchased a super afc, used for 200 dollars.
I also purchased a boost gage and air/fuel gage.

I don't have enough money for full exhaust, bigger fuel pump yadada.

How much power would I see If I just bought a bonez race pipe and put that on. I doubt I would be hitting fuel cut with just one cat gone and I shouldnt' have to worry about fuel?

the airpump isn't a problem on '89+ models. Leave it on or take it off. Its a turboII, right? Then why are you even concerned since you have no aux. ports?

cool

i just heard the airpump had other functions.....but if I take the cat off, I will just take the airpump off and get a dual alternator pulley..

does anyone know exactly what the underdrive pulley is and if it would help??? I dunno because I have a/c and power steering.... I won't get rid of the a/c. I might get rid of power steering though......anyone else do this with ease?

thanks
matt

For the price of a crappy Bonez pipe, you could almost build your own highflow exhaust. 3" pipe and a Dynomax ultraflo isn't that expensive (not that quiet, either )...

A bonez race pipe w/ hardwar and shipping, is only about $180.
Is that more than a dynomax or whatever, plus all the fabrication?

its a little more.

my local guy whos an Ace w/ the pipe bender, charged me 140 for tail pipes on my blazer. and Quoted me about 140 for a cat back on the mazda. 2.25" 16ga. aluminuzed. and then about 30 extra for the 4" chrome resonators.

but this is only for CRUSH bend. i have to belive the Bonez pipe is mandrel bent...better for flow, better build quality. i should probably spring for a race pipe myself... but i need a custom tail pipe made to mount the universal N1.

oh well

you guys dont understand what he wants. not the full race pipe, but the 60 dollar bonez pipe that just replaces the main cat. he has a turbo car.

i have run my headers down to the race pipe that you are looking for, and actually have one sitting out in my garage right now. it killed my torque but rocked very much top end. it was great. right now im running a new 2.25" cat so i kinda just killed my free flowing exhaust..
