RA rebuild kit, help with gaskets? (pics)
I am getting ready to put my 13b back together. I have the Rotary Aviation basic rebuild kit and their gasket kit. There are a few gaskets I am not sure where they go:
The top pack came in the same pack as the intake manifold gaskets, I'm not sure what any of them are for.
The other three came in the rebuild kit:
The left pack has a big ring and four small one.
The middle one has four rings (I believe for between the housings and irons) and one small ring, I was thinking for the front cover.
The one on the right has two, ones smaller than the other.
Does anyone know what's what?
Also, these are the oil seal o rings:
They weren't labeled at all, but I assume the smaller one is for the inner ring. And one of them seems weird, I hope it doesn't affect anything.
And my current clutch. This still seems in good shape, no?

And I have a pretty much new oil filter that was on the car for only 25 miles or less then I took it off. Can I use that still or do I have to get another one? I was going to change the oil and filter after driving it for a few hundred miles anyways, but for those miles. The filter sat for like 2 months.

The NASCAR track-shaped ring in the top pack looks like the OMP ring. The other two in that pack may be the oil pedestal's two rings. You'll be fine re-using your oil filter. Good luck.

I went through the same bs with the RA kit. Nothing is labeled. If you're a professional builder that's probably not a big deal, but otherwise it is really tough to figure out what you're looking at. I'll never buy their soft seals again.
Somewhere in there are oil filter pedestal o-rings, and the all important front cover o ring. It took a lot of guess work to figure stuff out.
